Starts in Nairobi and ends in Nairobi, We drive by road to visit Kenya most scenic park, Samburu Game Reserve home to amazing wildlife and statuesque warriors. View unique wildlife species like Oryx, Gerenuk, Somali Ostrich, Grevy zebra, reticulated giraffe and other wild animals and bird life peculiar to this semi arid region.

The Samburu National Reserve was one of the two regions in which protectionists George and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness, made well known in the top of the line book and grant winning film Born Free. The Elephant Watch Camp, of which Saba Douglas-Hamilton is chief, exists in the recreation center.

The Samburu National Reserve is likewise the home of Kamunyak, a lioness well known for receiving oryx calves.

Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    DAY 1: NAIROBI-SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

    Meet and greet services on arrival in the morning at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs by our driver-guide. We depart and drive north through to the northern frontier district and on to Samburu Game Reserve. Afternoon game drive in this reserve famous for its exclusive game viewing. Dinner and overnight at either Ashnil Samburu Camp, Samburu Game Lodge, Samburu Simba Lodge, Samburu Sopa Lodge or Sentrim Samburu Lodge. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner

  2. Day 2

    DAY 2: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE FULL DAY

    After breakfast morning and afternoon game viewing drive in the Samburu game reserve. The surrounding terrain is renowned for rare game, -long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and the Beisa Oryx. Leopard is the frequent passer-by. Game drives and bird watching safaris are the ideal way to experience the native wildlife in its natural splendour.   Meals and overnight at the camp.

  3. Day 3

    DAY 3: SAMBURU TO NAIROBI

    Pre-breakfast sun-rise game viewing-drive to see leopard, cheater, lions and other cuts hunting. This is the best time to spot the cats family when making a kill for their breakfast as the sun rises-up. Back to the camp for your full breakfast before departing with an en-route game viewing-drive as you leave Samburu to Nairobi. Break for lunch at nanyuki town. After lunch proceed to Nairobi where you’ll arrive between 04:00pm & 05:00pm
