2-Days elephant hill trekking. The Elephant Hill is an elephant-shaped hill located in the

Range. It is the fifth-highest trail of the Aberdare range trails. The hike starts at the Aberdare’s, south end in Kinangop Constituency, Nyandarua County. The hiking trail is 9 kilometres. From the starting point at Njabini gate, 8,203ft or 2,500 meters above sea level, to its summit that straddles.

The summit is at an elevation of 3657.6 meters 12000Ft. The elephant hill hike starting point takes about two to three hours from Nairobi CBD. About 104 kilometres from Nairobi to Kenya Wildlife Service Njabini Gate is the distance. The park entry fee and clearance are prerequisites at this office before proceeding to the forest trail.

1 Engage in active cardio exercises such as aerobics, walking, running, cycling, and swimming among others the week prior to the event.

2 Set aside the day before the hike for resting–take a break from exercises.

3 Increase your hydration at least two days to the hike.
